About Lacey Tisch:

Lacey has 15+ years of branding and marketing experience across publishing, advertising, journalism and hospitality. Born and raised in New York City (and, fun fact, named after a taxi company!), Lacey received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and MBA from NYU Stern. Lacey was born with a slew of medical setbacks, some of which continue to affect her health today. Throughout the years, she received many external treatments. 5 years ago, she began dealing with medical PTSD. She was also unhappy in her job and froze for multiple years, getting mired down by an addiction to alcohol. She couldn’t figure out a way forward and began to take a major interest in exploring wellness to find anything that would help. She found that she was spending a lot of time traveling throughout the city in search of these treatments and it led to stress and fatigue. Through her search she has found that being on top of the trends, new techniques and brands in various wellness practices is a major source of pride.

In an effort to reach others dealing with similar struggles, the next step in Lacey’s journey was to create a community where people can explore wellness their way. She continues to celebrate her sobriety, and lives on the Upper East Side with her sons Lucas and Aby, husband Jonathan and her two dogs Maggie and Ollie.

About Lauren Zucker:

Lauren is a lifelong fitness and wellness enthusiast who spent 20 years working in the music and talent management industries, connecting brands with some of the biggest names in music including Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, PINK, and the Black Eyed Peas. Lauren always believed that her life was supposed to go according to a certain plan with work, marriage, and kids. And then everything started spiraling. After trying for years to fix others and in an effort to be her most authentic self, she realized she could only control her destiny. She needed to think about the kind of life she wanted to lead and then live it. This sparked curiosity as she didn’t know where to go to make the change. She traveled across the city and country to meet with different healers, therapists, and self-discovery groups. She learned that community and connecting with people were a big part of the healing journey. But she found it crazy that she lived in a city where everything is at one’s fingertips, yet she couldn’t find it all in one, welcoming space. This gave her the desire to create a modern sanctuary where the best healers, practitioners, and brands could all exist under one roof and to create a community for those searching. Lauren uses what she has learned in her healing journey to help others discover how to feel healthy, happy, and grounded through a mind, body, and soul connection.

What does wellness mean to you?

Lacey: A great bath!

Have you always been into wellness or did you one day realize the importance of it?

Lauren: Prior to changing careers, wellness meant “How many days a week could I work out.” Now, it’s all about connecting to my mind and body and understanding that a daily mindfulness practice (a.k.a. exercise your mind) is as important as exercise your body.
