Now, more than ever mental health should be a priority for all of us. But sometimes it’s hard to prioritize when there is so much happening around us. It’s natural to feel mentally drained and sometimes not in control over your thoughts. But you should know that you have control over how you’re feeling and there are simple steps you can take to improve your mental well-being.
Although sundays’ purpose is to make you look good and feel good, we want to put an emphasis on feeling good. And that comes with taking care of your mental health. So our founder, Amy Lin wanted to share her tips with our community on how to take care of your mental well-being and stay positive, if you’re not a meditation pro and if you just need to do a little check-in with yourself. Read her tips below or watch the IGTV!
- First thing when you wake up, instead of looking at your phone, you can do a 5 to 10 minute meditation. You can listen to sundays meditation on Spotify, featuring topics such as gratitude and letting go.
- If meditation is not your thing, try to find something fun to do first thing in the morning. Like listening to music or even just standing in front of the mirror and saying something positive to yourself. Like: ‘I’m strong” or “I can do this!”It will really help set the tone for the rest of the day.
- I like to sign up for a program that lasts a couple of months, like a yoga class or a cooking class, as it distracts your mind from over thinking.
We hope that Amy’s tips help you be a little kinder to yourself and inspire you to take care of your mental well-being and to stay positive at the same time. And remember that sundays is here for you, so if you have any questions regarding staying positive or any of your at-home wellness needs please reach out to us at [email protected].
Sending love and good vibes.
