What does wellness mean to you?
To me, wellness means waking up in the morning feeling refreshed and excited to do things I love and feel passionate about, to be in a good mood, and to have the energy to run around with my daughter.
What advice would you give your younger self about wellness?
I’d tell my younger self that self-care is essential and even selfless because the more you fill your cup, the more you can help others fill theirs. I would also tell my younger self to sleep as much as possible!
How do you get back on track once you fall off the wagon?
I believe there is really no wagon to fall off from. It’s life and it’s OK not to be perfect every time. I love pizza but I try to put arugula on top of it, for example (balance!) and if I do fall off the wagon, I just return as soon as I can, with love and compassion towards myself.
