Tell us about your favorite writing topics.
As a journalist, I love to tell people’s stories! Those people could be celebrities, influencers, brand-owners, pros, or non-famous folks with a unique point of view. After that, I love to write about beauty, fitness, travel, and fashion! Beauty is so much fun to explore since it’s such a personal topic and there’s science behind the products and claims.

Who/ What inspires your health/fitness/beauty?
You know, I am inspired by Lea Michele. I’ve been a big fan of hers since Spring Awakening and Glee (I’m a not-so-secret Broadway baby). I love that Lea remains in the spotlight but is a positive role model. On social, she often shares her wellness tips, favorite beauty products, and healthy recipes. Plus, her skin is always glowing!

What are your favorite colors to incorporate in clothes and makeup?
I’m consistently a fan of metallics — be it a soft bronzer with a hint of shimmer, a foiled rose gold eye shadow, or gilded nail polish. Next, I’d say berries. I’m more into the pinks and purples than reds when it comes to lips, cheeks, lids, and nails. If we’re specifically talking nails and fashion here, then I am totally into creamy lavenders this season. I’m on the hunt for a chic lavender sheath dress.

What meals would you recommend to beat the summer heat?
If you’re trying to survive the summer heat, go for smoothies. There are so many healthy juice shops all over NYC right now. And they’re portable, since most of us are always on the go! If not, just get some delicious homemade ice cream, like from Ample Hill Creamery (yum!),

What is your ideal Sunday?
I’m doing it right now, actually. Sundays are my rest and revive days. And I rarely get the “Sunday scaries,” because I love what I do and am genuinely excited to go back to work. My Sundays are pretty basic — workout, call friends, shop at Trader Joe’s, catch up on personal emails, and then usually have a giant cuddle-and-TV session with my husband. (Sometimes pizza is involved.) Cheesy, but true!
